Founder’s Brief

A short, honest read — about 4 minutes.

The full founder’s brief (with financials, target customers, and launch plan) is shared by request only. This page is the public summary — enough to decide whether the deep version is worth your inbox.

What PatchPilot is

A UK-built remote monitoring & patch-management tool for IT teams and MSPs. We focus on three things competitors usually do badly: honest pricing, compliance evidence out of the box, and a verifiable record of what actually works.

The product is live in beta today. Paid beta access opens to the waitlist on 15 June 2026, with full general availability following beta feedback — we're using the extra fortnight to polish the final round of features (expanded compliance evidence, deeper posture telemetry).

Why we’re building it

RMM tooling is a quiet oligopoly. The leaders (NinjaOne, Atera, ConnectWise, Datto) hide pricing behind a sales call, ship features faster than they can validate them, and treat compliance evidence as a paid add-on. UK MSPs and in-house IT teams routinely pay more per device than they need to and still maintain spreadsheets to satisfy Cyber Essentials auditors.

We think there’s a clean product opportunity in the gap between “cheap and broken” (most open-source) and “expensive and opaque” (most commercial). Hence the transparent pricing on /pricing and the public roadmap on /roadmap with live verification badges.

How to read our numbers

What we’re raising and on what terms

The detailed numbers (revenue today, monthly burn, ask, terms) live in the full brief. If you’re an investor, customer, or just curious, send a one-line email and we’ll share it.

Honest caveat: the full brief is shared under a soft NDA (don’t forward without asking). It’s a working document — it changes as we learn.
